Latest News: We are very excited that we are in the new Local Colors of Utah gallery located in Sugar House Come check us out in person or online at www.localcolorsart.com or www.facebook.com/localcolorsart! We will be featured artists on April 20 from 6-9pm during the SL Gallery Stroll. Please stop by our gallery for some good food, music, and art. Jo Ann will be helping to plan the 2012 art events for the Holladay Arts Council, Local Colors gallery, and Sugar House Art Walk (SHAW) events. SHAW will be held the 2nd Friday of every month starting April 13. She is also planning a Holladay festival themed "Once in a Blue Moon" (rare blue moon on Friday, August 31). This festival will be held in the new Holladay Village Plaza with a beer/wine garden, 9 piece Blues/Jazz band, dancing under the moon, free children's art activities, and food and art vendors. Hope you can plan to attend all of these fun events.
2011 Summary: We completed another very successful year. We thoroughly enjoyed being in the SLC Art and Craft Market in Pioneer Park, the Holladay Harvest Festival, the Annual Holladay Art Show, and the Old World Christmas Market. Travel included several trips to southern Utah and to the Oregon Coast. Please visit our latest trip photos under our gallery sections of Southern Utah, Oregon, and Italy/France.
Creative plans this year include painting our mats and frames either in mixed acrylic paints or rusting the frame to compliment the photograph and painted mat. We are also printing more on canvas and painting over our photographs. We believe the results have turned out great.
Our travels throughout the United States, Europe, and the Middle East have brought some unusual and splendid photograph opportunities.
